Broadway Play All Shook Up

Palace Theatre

1564 Broadway

New York, New York

Written by Julie Greiner
The new Broadway musical hit in town "All Shook Up" is playing at the Palace Theatre on Broadway in New York City. This is a "do NOT miss" event. If you enjoy a good story, lots of wonderful music (all Elvis Presley songs), fantastic talent and a good time - this is the show! "All Shook Up" is set
in 1955 and is about a hip-swiveling, guitar-playing stranger (Cheyenne Jackson) who comes to town to fall in love with a sweet young local girl (Jenn Gambatese) who dreams of leaving her sleepy town for the more exciting big city life. This is not a musical review, however, all the songs are Elvis Presley's. This story of romance and dreams is based around the songs of Elvis Presley.

All Shook Up Playing at the Palace Theatre

The Palace was originally built in 1913 and was the premier vaudeville theater on Broadway from 1913 until 1932. The Palace was originally owned by Martin Beck, the Architect was Kirchoff & Rose and was built with a seating capacity of 1,736. This top American theater has been the host to performers such as Will Rogers, Eddie Cantor and Jack Benny. The Palace underwent a 3-year renovation and is now, once again, one of the premiere houses on Broadway with a setting capacity of 1,743. Included with the renovations, the Palace was encased in a high rise hotel in 1990 and it's original interior is magnificently preserved.
